Tea Set 12 services Itálica
Unlike most Sargadelos decorations, which are inspired by shapes drawn from Galicia’s rich cultural heritage, the *Itálica* motif is an exception. This design comes from a 2nd-century AD Roman mosaic that belongs to the archaeological site of *Itálica*, a city in the Roman province of *Baetica* (present-day Andalusia).
This mosaic is part of a thermal bath area and is dedicated to the god Neptune, depicted at its center, surrounded by various sea creatures, most of them mythological. The central space is enclosed by a second band featuring birds, crocodiles, hunters with spears and shields, and plant elements. The *Itálica* motif is taken from the perimeter decoration of this remarkable ensemble. Composition:
12 Tea cups and saucer (200 ml).
1 Teapot (1890 ml).
1 Milk jug (560 ml).
1 Sugar bowl (425 ml).
Material: Porcelain.
Care: Suitable for dishwashers and microwaves.
